Track Of The Week #1

Unreal track right here. It’s what you can expect from Frank & Tony, a crunchy and deep Lofi House track, but the vocals… you just don’t see this type of thing enough in the underground House scene, or at least I’m not exposed to it. Beautifully intimate vocals that you could easily find in a different genre’s release, but here instead in a Lofi house tune. Usually when you hear similar tracks, the vocal is a sample, or it’s a remix, but this was recorded for the track itself. It’s always cool to see deep house producers use samples and a cappella creatively, but this puts it into another league. After looking through Frank & Tony’s discography, it appears this is essentially their style. Deep, Lofi House, with full original vocals. Really good unique stuff. If you are unfamiliar with Frank & Tony they are definitely worth a listen, also along with member Anthony Collins’ solo work under the name Grant.

Happy Listening,
Sandy Woodhouse
